Annual Food Drive this Wednesday (23rd) at Copacabana Salsa Night! Bring canned goods and other donations
This Wednesday is a special night at Copacabana Salsa Night. Please bring canned goods, and nonperishable food donations for the New Hampshire Food Bank. Did you know that about 1 in 9 individuals in NH is food insecure, and even worse that about 1 in 5 children in New Hampshire are food insecure? November is Canned Vegetable month for the New Hampshire Food Bank. If you are wondering what to purchase as a donation please bring canned vegetables, but whatever you have is great as well. Salsa Sabor donates the entire proceeds from the nights lessons to the Food Bank. This is a great reason to convince that friend or coworker that is on the fence about trying salsa dancing to finally come learn Salsa with you. It’s for a good cause, how can they possibly say, “not tonight” to dancing for a great cause like feeding the hungry. We also will accept cash donations.
It is the night before the Thanksgiving holiday, so we are dancing till midnight with special guest DJ Eddie Tunez. Plan to stay late and have tons of fun in our warm welcoming community!
Past years have been a great success thanks to our generous community, so please take time to get your donations together for this weeks salsa night. If you don’t have time to go out and buy donations, the Food Bank is always happy to have monetary donations as well. Please be generous this Holiday season to help New Hampshire’s less fortunate.
